On 1 July 2026, the Rotary Club of Nelson and the Rotary Club of Nelson West came together as one club, combining nearly a century of local service with a shared commitment to making Nelson a better place to live.

Whether you're new to Nelson, new to Rotary, or have been part of our community for years, there's a place for you here. Our members come from all walks of life — business owners, tradespeople, retirees, health professionals and young professionals alike — united by one motto: Service Above Self.

 

A stronger club for Nelson

Bringing our two clubs together means more hands, more ideas, and more impact. We are involved in setting up community events like the Boulder Bank Walk, and helping out at events like the Founders Park Book Fair, supporting vulnerable Nelson families through Big Brothers Big Sisters and Whare Haumaru (Male Room), supporting the Nelson Hospital courtesy shuttle, and backing international relief efforts through ShelterBox and Polio Plus.
