We assist with selection of one or sometimes two students from Nelson College each year to attend the Rotary Science School held annually in Auckland. We also contribute to the attendance costs.

Rotary National Science Fair is targeted to senior students. The residential programme provides opportunity for participants with a passion for science to mix with their peers  from across New Zealand. Through this they learn more about their areas of interest including practical application in participating companies.

Those who have attended have been unanimous in praising the experience and many have gone on to a career in science.
